CELS PDI CERTIFIED ORIENTATION PROGRAM

CELS PDI Certified Orientation Program is a mandatory employee roles, responsibilities and compliance training that organizations can use for all new hires as part of their employment process.

Program Objectives

By the end of this program, new hires will:

  • Understand their mandatory roles and responsibilities as employees.
  • Recognize the importance of company policies and procedures.
  • Be aware of ethical, legal, and compliance expectations.
  • Know where to find resources and whom to contact for support.
  • Commit to upholding professional standards in daily work.

Program Modules

Module 1: Welcome & Employee Commitment

  • Purpose: Establish expectations from the first day.
  • Topics:
    • The role of employees in the success of the organization.
    • Shared responsibility for maintaining culture and compliance.
    • The concept of professionalism and accountability.

Module 2: Mandatory Roles & Responsibilities

  • Purpose: Define what it means to be an employee.
  • Topics:
    • Job performance expectations.
    • Attendance, punctuality, and time management.
    • Confidentiality & data security responsibilities.
    • Representing the company with integrity on and off the job.

Module 3: Policies & Procedures — Why They Matter

  • Purpose: Show policies as protection, not just rules.
  • Topics:
    • Importance of compliance for safety, fairness, and productivity.
    • Code of conduct and ethics.
    • Anti-harassment, discrimination, and workplace respect.
    • Reporting channels for concerns or violations.

Module 4: Organizational Procedures

  • Purpose: Familiarize employees with the systems that govern daily work.
  • Topics:
    • Standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Communication and chain of command.
    • IT & cybersecurity protocols.
    • Emergency and safety procedures.

Module 5: Employee Rights & Support Systems

  • Purpose: Balance responsibilities with rights.
  • Topics:
    • Employee rights under labor laws.
    • Access to HR and employee assistance programs.
    • Wellness, mental health, and safe workplace guarantees.

Module 6: Commitment & Evaluation

  • Purpose: Ensure accountability.
  • Topics:
    • Orientation summary and key takeaways.
    • Signed employee acknowledgment of policies & responsibilities.
    • Evaluation test (short quiz or checklist).
    • Certificate of Completion (mandatory documentation).

Program Format

  • Duration: 1 full day (or broken into 2 half-day sessions).
  • Delivery:
